RENEWABLE ENERGY

Renewable Energy

Renewable energy is energy that is generated from depletion-free natural processes that are continuously replenished. This energy cannot be exhausted and is constantly renewed.

Thus they differ from fossil energy sources that only regenerate over millions of years. Renewable Energy sources coupled with higher energy efficiency are regarded as the most important foundation of a sustainable energy policy and indeed energy revolution. They include sunlight, geothermal heat, wind, tides, water, and various forms of biomass.

The rapid expansion of renewable energy, needed to achieve the energy revolution, offers a variety of global investment opportunities. Long-term contracts and legal production requirements make these investments extremely attractive whilst significantly reducing risk.
